This battle led to the British victory at Brandywine a few days later, and the final capture of Philadelphia. This is the largest fight in Delaware during the Revolution, and some say, the first time the American Stars-and-Stripes were flown on the battlefield. 45 minutes

Within days of the actual anniversary of the formal British surrender, nearly 2,000 re-enactors met on the original, hollowed “Surrender Field” to commemorate the British defeat — Never since 1781 had this event been re-staged so authentically. Battle of Monmouth
June 28, 1778. The Battle of Monmouth Courthouse was the last major engagement of the northern theater, and the largest one-day battle of the war piting General George Washington’s Valley Forge trained Army in pitched open battle against British General Sir Henry Clinton. The official 230th anniversary re-enactment commemorative film. 60 minutes.
