Christian history explores the faith of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. Christian growth is the focus of the course study on Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. Applied science reveals the use of God’s design in nature for scientific discoveries. Skills for rhetoric helps students develop persuasive oral and written communication.
Additional important concepts: Foundations for high school study develop strong communication and character skills. God’s Word is taught as the filter for all life and scientific study. Students will discover how faith has influenced America as a nation, and how God’s creation is continuing to help scientists develop better technologies.
What makes it unique: The Christian foundations of America’s history are shown clearly through original historical documents. This biblical groundwork also helps students understand science through the eyes of Scripture, and scriptural authority in the world. God is praised through every aspect of these educational studies.
Suggested weekly schedule: 3 to 4 hours per day, 5 days per week; first semester approximately 30 to 40 minutes longer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Rhetoric is the ancient skill of persuasive speech. This course includes basic grammar and writing composition, and instructions for mastering this time-honored skill along with written and oral abilities.
The Pilgrim's Progress Curriculum
The course includes activities, character studies, and commentary information regarding the unique figures that Pilgrim encounters during his journey to Celestial City, as well as reproducible student pages on CD.
This Christian heritage study is focused on the historical events and people surrounding the Declaration of Independence, with a focus on their faith and strong affirmations of God in society.
